Milan Fashion Week | Trussardi 1911 S/S 2010

Trussardi 1911 has impressed us favorably this season as they graced the runway of Milan with their Native American inspired collection. Varied in every way, the collection somehow maintains a constant theme that evokes a relaxed, bohemian lifestyle that speaks spring and summer. With a colour palette that is just as diverse as these United States, we are given vibrancy, neutrality, and even the occasional black. Thin tops that are patterned in feathers and and color, classic blazers, accessories, jeans, trousers, and shorts all make up the variety that is Trussardi. Fringe is applied with care and moderation, while waist coats and blazers are jazzed up with cropped sleeves and 'Native' texture. Continuing with the theme at play, washed-up and faded denim are present along with fitted trousers that are relaxed thanks to their fun pattens and color. Textures impressively take ordinary clothing into an inspired muse while details make the collection what it is. We like what we see. More after the jump.
